Day 1

Exploring Guayaquil

1). We start our tour with the stroll on the Malecon 2000, a picturesque riverfront promenade that stretches along the Guayas River.
2). In the middle of our stroll we will turn to the side to visit "Iguana Park," it is a home to dozens of iguanas freely roaming among the trees and pathways. You can enjoy feeding them or simply observe these fascinating creatures up close.
3). Moving forward along the Malecon 2000 we will arrive to the neighborhood Las Peñas. This colorful neighborhood showcases well-preserved colonial architecture, narrow cobbled streets, and vibrant houses. Here we will have a lunch in one of the best places.
You will see a cable car, which is going across the Guayas River and old town of Guayaquil. It is optional to take a ride on it.
4). Next we visit the Guayaquil Historical Park. Here you will see reconstructed traditional homes, exhibits, and interactive displays. Additionally, you can witness native wildlife, including giant Galapagos tortoises, monkeys, and a variety of bird species.
5). When the sun goes down we will take a short river cruise over the Guayas River.
6). Finally, we will enjoy the dinner with seafood on the Malecon 2000.
